Ever wonder about God?

Do you have an image in your mind about who God is if He does exist?

On occasions (most notably when life is stinking) we search our minds, wondering--if there is a God--why life is like it is.

If there is a God and He created things as the Bible describes, what went wrong? Wouldn't it have been better (easier at least) if we had all stayed perfect, enjoying the Garden of Eden and a loving relationship with our Creator?

The Search for Meaning

Humankind has pondered the unfathomable since earliest recorded history. And for all the answers we've found, for all the progress we've made, there is no proof of purpose in life.

Is the question of how we got here significant to our purpose for existence? From evolution to creation, any belief requires faith to bridge the gaps science cannot answer.

And so we find it is still each person's choice what, or who, they'll believe.

This Site

The goal of this site is to offer ideas based on and fully consistent with the Bible. I present these articles in response to questions I've asked, and insight and answers discovered after I let go of what I already thought about the Bible (preconceived notions), and let it speak for itself.

No religion. No dogma. Just a sincere desire to know what it says and whether it was true, and a willingness to acknowledge that truth if found. (Unknown to me at the beginning, that approach proved many of the truths I would later read about, such as: seek and you will find; He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him; the degree to which you hear determines the degree to which you understand; the kingdom of God is within; and, the spirit searches the deep things of God.)

I hope these articles give you reason to explore the Bible and re-evaluate it with the desire to learn more about who God is.
